Crockpot SCV656B

I bought the above Croc Pot which is one of many, it's only about 18 Months old and has developed a large crack, I have never had this happen before and can't believe you can even put them in the oven. I use to buy a cheap Tesco one and never had any trouble but decided to go for a descent one the few times.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They sent another crock that was not broken. We are just waiting on the heating element to be shipped and everything is great!

I bought a crock pot online for my elderly mother. The first time she used it, it leaked everywhere.

There was a hairline crack in the crock pot. After she called them, they shipped a new one to her. However, they did this without knowing how the heating elements were, and it arrived poorly packaged and shattered, leaving glass everywhere.

She called them again and they wanted her to send it all back and pay $28 for shipping. It's been back and forth without any resolution.

Preferred solution: Either send the replacement or refund the amount so we can go elsewhere. I can't say the amount of money lost based on gas back and forth and the item and if she decides to pay to ship the whole thing back

User's recommendation: Replace the defective item and if you want the whole thing back then cover shipping. We've emailed pictures and followed all requests that have been asked. An almost 80 year old shouldn't be bothered with all of this and it's crazy I have to drive back and forth to help her with emails and everything to get this resolved!

Give a longer warranty & stand behind their product

It shouldnt have burned my pork picnic on warm

The warranty just expired in August 2024, only one month pass the warranty. Food is too high as it is & for thus crock to burn my meat on warm is ludicrous

Insulting replacement

I had a casserole crock pot that I paid almost $70 for. After just a few uses (2 or 3) the electronic pad would not work.

I contacted customer service. They stated they are discontinued but said they would replace it with a manual. What I got was a cheap replacement (maybe retails for 14.99). Nonetheless in a color that went out of style 10 years ago.

Cannot use it while gone from house as it has no timer.

I guess the joke is on me. Never again buy a crock pot Will never again buy anything by crock pot.

Shatteted lud while cooking

I have a Mainstay Oval 6 Quart Crock-Pot. I was making my pork roast yesterday for New Year's.

I was in the living room when I heard this big loud noise. I walked into the kitchen and my lid had shattered everywhere, into my food and onto my Crock-Pot. I hesitate to buy a replacement lid for it because it costs more than what I paid for the Crock-Pot itself. Is there a reason this could have happened?

Has anyone else complained about this? It's a mainstay brand. I've only had it for about 3 years and I've never had any trouble with it until this incident.

I had to throw my food and everything away. Can you please get back to me?

Hi. I am writing you because my crock pot is flashing the three lights.

And will not get hot. I love this crock pot and have used it so much and I clean it very well. Doesnt look like it has never been used.

Crack in crock

I was cooking beans like I always do. I heard a loud popping sound.

Then, after I finished, I saw leakage on the cooker and found a crack clear across the side. I'm not mad, just upset.

I love my crockpot SCV800-13. 120Vac 60Hz 370w.

I purchased a sage green crockpot with the clasp lid last fall. I've had it less than a year.

Model#CPSCVO60LL-TGT-122. It has only been used 6-7 times since then.

And I can't replace just the lid because it is the clasp portion. Kendra Howell

So i guess i won't be buying no more of there products. They just need to do what the customers ask.

Need new lid

CrockPot - Need new lid

I got a brand new crockpot for a Christmas gift this past December. Its an oval 4 quart one.

Ive used it about five times and I love it. But the last two times I used a pin came out of one of the clips (the last time dropping the pin and plastic clip in my soup).

Is there a way I can just get a new lid sent to me?

My Crock-Pot is less than 1 year old. It cooks so fast that food burns in 4 hours on low.

I asked for my product to be replaced. They said no way. I told them it would cost more for me to replace it, which isn't fair.

They don't care. So what, that we sold you a crap piece of equipment - you can pay more to replace it!!
